End of the Year Wrap-Up

...is put on hold till February!

This semester was overwhelming for everyone here at ACSM so instead of trying to cram in one last meeting amidst concerts, an opera and finals, we made the decision to wait till the beginning of the spring semester to go over everything accomplished this past fall.

So check back in with us in about a month and we'll fill you in on all of the past and future events!

REVIEW HANDBOOK

Agenda for music major meeting: welcome, introduction (faculty, s/f committee, chairs/advisors) in 226, make agenda public in meeting, clarify who to go to to answer questions, Prof. John and Prof. Smaldone will meet to discuss agenda, get faculty members to come, etc.

Student co-chair nominations: Lesley, Duane and Nicole were nominated; decided co-chair was unnecessary

Practice room update: Security apparently is not unlocking the doors that are supposed to be unlocked --- we have the keys to unlock these doors (about 3 or 4) and they stay unlocked until someone locks them --- is it possible to unlock all of the doors all of the time? should s/f help police the unlocked rooms? maybe unlocking 2 of the 4?

Order of classes, program issue ---> why are classes taught with other classes (will discuss at next meeting)

Discussed after the meeting; security issues (will talk about at next meeting), lack of certain classes being taught (pedagogy, rep classes)
